I plan to drive the Lincoln Highway from San Francisco to New York starting June 14, 2010. The Lincoln Highway was America's first coast-to-coast road organized in 1913. It started at Times Square in New York City and ended at Lincoln Park in San Francisco and goes through 14 states. I will follow the 1913 route eastward as closely as possible, with several side trips along the way. I'll use the official Lincoln Highway Companion book as my guide. I hope to make daily postings on this website.
